It’s FINALLY HERE!!!!!! It’s time to uncover em’ and get em’ road ready for the first event of the season! We’re gonna be starting the season at The Monkey Bar and Grill in Mainville Ohio Sunday, April 27th. We will once again have available to us, the three parking lots in back which should provide plenty of space to safely sequester our cars.
We will Start parking at 11am and should be officially wrapping up by 3pm. Look for the OVR flags to help guide you.

2025 Jerry Wolf Spring Classic

We are pleased to announce that registration is open for the 2025 Jerry Wolf Spring Classic at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. We are slated to again take on Mid-Ohio the weekend after Memorial Day.

Details
The dates are May 30th through June 1st. The decision has been made to have the entire paddock available throughout the weekend, including camping. For those of you who have asked for this feature, it will be available this June. This means that beginning Thursday evening at 5 p.m. you will have around the clock access to the paddock. There is no longer a need to rush to get to the track and unload Thursday evening before the gates close at 7 p.m.
There will be a $20 gate fee for those of you bringing campers or motor homes and you will need to contact Dave at Mid-Ohio prior to the event to arrange hookups. His email is: Dschwall@midohio.com .

Our host hotel will once again be the Quality Inn in Bellville, Ohio.

Additional Details
We have enjoyed a great relationship with the owners of Mid-Ohio and continue to do so. This relationship has helped keep our track rental fee’s at a reasonable level with no increase in our rates for 2024. For 2025 the owners have decided to bring all clubs to the same level with universal pricing. What this means for us is a very large increase in the cost of the track rental for 2025. It was a difficult decision for us but there was no way around it, the increase will be reflected in the registration fees for the event. We truly look forward to having you join us for both the Jerry Wolf Spring Classic and Autumn Thunder.

Athens Backhands Driving Tour
The Driving Event of the Summer
For the fourth year running, we are happy to host a weekend of country driving on some of the best roads in Southeastern Ohio. People will typically arrive on Friday evening June 20, to enable an early morning start on Saturday June 21st. We will be motoring along the Athens County twisty back roads for the day, with a lunch stop planned in Marietta, Ohio. Sunday morning we will complete our last leg of this journey with a planned lunch end point in Logan Ohio, a favorite stopover in Hocking Hills.

Annual Drivers Seminar
Join Us for Our Second Annual Drivers Seminar
We are pleased to announce our Second Annual Drivers Seminar, hosted by the Ohio Valley Region and led by Brian Till. The event will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at the Hamilton County Coroner’s office. Doors will open at 9 a.m. for registration with the first session starting at 9:30. Lunch is included and will be provided during a break around 11:30.
Brian Till has a career that includes time spent as a racing driver, chief instructor at the Mid-Ohio school, broadcast commentator, and chief steward for many racing series.
As everyone experienced last year, Brian’s background has given him insight, invaluable to driving on track and your daily commute.
We had a full house last year and expect the same response this year. Due to limited parking, we will hold registration at 150. To allow the members of our Ohio Valley Region to register first, we will not send an email to the HPDE community until the 18th of January. We expect the event to fill shortly after that happens so, please register now.

OVR PCA and The Merchants Club have curated an exclusive selection of bourbons from the Buffalo Trace Distillery for this special occasion. A light dinner fare will also be available.

There will continue to be events throughout the remaining fall and into winter but this is the last official car event before they hibernate until spring. We have an excellent Concours event planned for Saturday, October 5th, 2024 as part of the “Taste of New Richmond Celebration”. In addition to competing for prestigious concours awards the registration fee includes free coffee and food vouchers at Front Street Café for registrants and guests.
For our Concours event, we will have a dedicated area centrally located for all of the Taste of New Richmond activities, including great restaurants, food trucks, live bands, and DORA approval.

Heritage Festival - OVR PCA Car Show
OVR PCA has been invited by the City of Mason to produce a car show for Heritage Festival 2024.
The event will include: a parade, with a display of Porsches by DSG, car show, with a Porsche section and an Exotic Cars section. The Heritage Festival also includes live music, DORA, vendors and fireworks!
OVR will start staging at the Mason Intermediate Elementary School at 3:00 PM. From there we will be directed to drive to the Porsche section of the car show on Main Street (Rt.42), after the parade has cleared. The car show will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Gemeinschaft Duck Pin Bowling and BBQ!!
Another family friendly event
Duck Pin bowling is something all ages can do. Lanes are small the ball is approximately the size of a softball. They have they’re own BBQ food available and it’s quite good! There are board games for those less interested in the duck pin bowling. There’s a large patio and plenty of parking.
Wandering Monsters is located behind Arthur’s just off of Beechmont Ave. Parking is all the way in the back look for our flags, there should be plenty of space.

Registration is now open for the 2024 West Virginia Scenic Driving Tour, taking place the weekend of September 14-15th. The event will kick off with "Exotics on the Lawn" in the Village of Barboursville, WV beginning at 7:30 am. The tour departs Barboursville at 9:00 am and winds through the mountain roads with an overnight destination at the Snowshoe Resort in Snowshoe WV. We will depart Snowshoe at 9 am and enjoy the winding roads, with a planned lunch stop in Elkins WV (see attached flyer).

Join us for the 2024 Das Porsche Fest - Taste Of Harrison!
Plan to join us in historic downtown Harrison in The District September 7th, 2024 for a Taste of Harrison. Local eateries will highlight their cuisine, live music, and local crafters will all bring a night of fun in The District.
The City of Harrison will be closing down 2 city blocks of this 3-block downtown event for exclusive OVR PCA member Porsche parking.. This event is in a DORA District and OVR PCA will have an event space @ 611 Gathering Place with drinks and catered food for our member attendees. Twenty-five cars will be parked at the Police Department and 25 cars across from Fretboard Brewery.
We have capacity for 50 Cars in VIP Parking. $50.00 are includes commemorative T-Shirt & OVR poker chip and access to VIP lounge with refreshments & Hors d’Oeuvres.
General Reserved Parking $40 includes commemorative T-Shirt & OVR poker chip and access to VIP lounge with refreshments & Hors d’Oeuvres.

Last year's Porsche section was a hit! We've partnered again with the organizer of Wyoming Exotic Wheels to arrange a Porsche Section, accommodating up to 30 Porsches this year.

If you would like to display your Porsche in the Porsche Section, please submit your car make/model/color and contact details via this form. The organizers will select and approve entries and confirm with you directly if selected. For public safety, showcase cars must arrive early for setup and stay for most of the event's duration.
