Call to Order

7:07 p.m. by President Jeff Clark and welcome to all attendees.

Presidents Report:  

President Clark welcomed all first time attendees and gave a short report. A motion/second to approve the minutes of our last Board meeting passed. Working on addition of a “MART” to our webpage. There is currently a link to the PCA Mart on the webpage and if anyone has items for sale please email information/photos to president@ovrpca.org for publication.

Vice President:  

No report.

Treasurer:

The President reported that Steve Ringel will be formally transferring his duties to Miguel Alemany by the end of the month. All 5/3rd Bank accounts and taxes are up to date and OVR PCA is grateful for all his hard work as Treasurer of the club.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Autocross:

No report.

Concours:

Fred Zacharias reported that the Sozo Loveland Church Concours event will be May 3rd, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. and registration opens this weekend on Club Registration. There will be a Taste of Harrison Concours event on September 6th, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. The 11th annual Red Brick Reunion Concours event will be August 16th, 2025. There is a summer concours event in the works as well as a fall open house/Q&A event at Metalkraft Coachwerkes.

Driver Education:

The 2025 Jerry Wolf Spring Classic HPDE event is at Mid-Ohio on May 30th, 31st and June 1st. See the OVR PCA webpage for additional information and please register with Club Registration.

Ambassador:

President Clark reported that Kandiss is working on Cars & Coffee events and an Eclipse Cruise In. Reminder that all OVR PCA members receive a 10% discount at Eclipse Window Tint.

Social Events:  The next Gemeinschaft Third Thursday Throttle Down event is March 20th, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Madd Tree Brewing.

Rallye/Tours:

Steve Kreleler reported that on April 19th there will be a 130 mile Kentucky Spring Tour in Wilder, Kentucky. This years Athens Back Road Tour will be the June 20th weekend (Friday, Saturday night at University Inn). There is discussions and ongoing evaluation of the RoadStr app to replace Club Registration.

Web Site:

Paul Sonoda reports that he is adding events to the webpage calendar and asks all Committee heads to send him updated webpage content. Paul is seeking past event photos and write-ups that he can add to our webpage. The OVR PCA Flickr account has unlimited space. There is an event URL being added to the webpage footer and he can create calendars for specialty events.

Old Business:

Reminder that all Bent Pylon articles need to be submitted to Paul Sonoda at admin@ovrpca.org. There is a “MART” being developed for members to be able to sell items.

New Business:

John Meyer has FREE TO A GOOD HOME harness bar including left and right side out from a 1973 911. It has racing provenance as it was used in the 2009 One Lap of America event. Please contact John at (513) 325-8071 if interested.

The next Board meeting will be April 8th, 2025 at Ferrari’s Little Italy from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
