OVR in conjunction with JoyRide is proud to announce the second Cincinnati JoyRide event to be held at Crossroads Church in Mason, Ohio, from 9:00am until 11:30am on Saturday August 8th, 2020.

Your club has supported JoyRide both financially and with volunteers since last year. This is a very special organization doing very special things for special needs kids and their families.

It is important due to event planning and safety that you arrive by 8:30am. You will be able to leave at any time but you will enjoy watching the event. We hope you can stay through the conclusion of the event at around 11:30am.

JoyRide is a car club exclusively for kids with special needs. During JoyRide events, kids trade the everyday worry of doctor's visits and medication for a chance to cruise in high-end or one-of-a-kind cars. Along with car rides, JoyRide kids enjoy a chance to make new friends, network, and build a sense of belonging.

What to expect:
JoyRide events aim to put smiles on faces by creating fun and engaging atmosphere for kids with special needs. Kids get an up-close look at the unique cars on display by sitting in them and even going for rides! JoyRide events also create a sense of community by bringing families together.

About the Ride:
Cars maneuver through a marked course at no more than 20 miles per hour. Parents watch as their kid rides through the course in an enclosed parking lot. Booster seats and seat belts ensure the kids are safe. Videos and picture are captured and distributed after each JoyRide event.

This is what participants say about JoyRide events:
Parent
"It was a spectacular event and we look forward to participating as a member and as volunteers in the future. Thank you for providing our son, and other special friends like him, a chance to smile! His smiles today made me cry in the most wonderful way!"

Driver
"The smiles on the faces of the kids and their parents were worth everything; I was in tears for most of the day. It was a well-run, well-coordinated, and I look forward to participating again and again. I am so very glad to have been a small part of something truly joyful."

Volunteer
"JoyRide team, this was amazing! I witnessed an interaction between one of the drivers and a little boy, which had four adults in tears. You should be so proud. So happy to have been part of the event!"

I personally attended three of these events in the last few years and was incredibly moved. We are convinced if you come out one time, you will be back To learn more about JoyRide, please go to the following link:
